Register for the 2024 HURREVAC webinar series

Registration is open for the National Hurricane Program’s annual HURREVAC webinar series. Government emergency managers are invited to join us each day from June 10 to June 14, 2024.

Instructors will cover a wide range of topics to help new HURREVAC users gain a comprehensive understanding of the program. Returning users can also look forward to updates about the program and NOAA’s forecast products. The five sessions will focus on these themes:

• Monday, June 10 – Intro to HURREVAC and the National Hurricane Program
• Tuesday, June 11 – Wind Forecast Features
• Wednesday, June 12 – Evacuation Timing Features
• Thursday, June 13 – Storm Surge and Flooding Hazards
• Friday, June 14 – Applying HURREVAC for Planning and Operations

You must register for each day you plan to attend. As in previous years, sessions will go live at 2 PM EDT and run for approximately 90 minutes. Recordings will also be posted to the HURREVAC YouTube channel.
